This RIB was designed and delivered as a bespoke superyacht tender in 2017. After first use of the yacht, it became apparent that the owners wished to have a Ski Nautique on board and the R701 was put into storage in the South of France. In 2023 it was brought back to the Netherlands to act as a DEMO boat for X-Craft.
With only 95 hrs. on the engine you can say this boat is almost new.
The Mercury 3.0L TDI (Volkswagen) engine provides 260HP and the Bravo 3 Stern drive has counter rotating propellors. A (removable) stairs give nice and solid access over the tube. The backrest on the engine bay can fold away partly for easy access from the stern.
The deep V-hull designed by Adam Younger provides great performance in terms of speed, comfort and fast cornering.
Despite its modest size this tender features all amenities one would expect from a genuine custom super yacht tender, like the shower system, underwater lighting, dimmable courtesy lights and many other bespoke items.
Due to it’s 7 meter length and a weight of 1700kg, this tender is also easy to trailer.
